This is a brief--even minimal-summary of, in the main, the central tenets of "Conversation Theory-as they appear to me. It is intended only as that: it is not an exposition nor is here an intention to argue a thesis in it. It is, therefore, necessarily both inaccurate and incomplete. But it may help.
